hugo Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 On topic, it seems like the man did nothing more than hire a bounty hunter to bring his child's killer to justice. Should be legal. He ain't no hero, though. Just a common man who had enough. You ain't no hero unless you risk life and limb in pursuit of another's well being. On one hand I or you have the total facts and might have been hunting down an innocent man. I total agree with hugo on that should be totally legal. If in fact they grab an innocent man then what though? Or brought to justice he is exonerated? My bad I guess I spend the rest of my life kicking myslef in the ass. I also agree with RO in that if justice won't do it I WILL! But then again you go back to the facts in the case. If it's over whelming go for I guess and hope that you don't kill of abduct an innocent man. It's never black or white.. snafu Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Having said that I'm 52 years old. I won't mind spending the next 20 years (god forbid) behind bars serving justice in my eyes. hugo Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 The man has already been convicted, just not extradited. The question of guilt has already been determined. snafu Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 No I'll go back and read again but he was convicted of a manslaughter charge in France and Germany wants extradition to try him for murder. He's only been tried in a country that the assault and death did not occur. Quote "You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws. That's just insane!" hugo Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Read it again, snaf. snafu Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 OK I got the story ed up. He was convicted of manslaughter in France but never served time for it. Germany let his ass roam free. Still... I would have done what Emy stated and just had him snuffed out for the mer fact that he injected his daughter with something that killed her. Thankfully he should be spending time behind bars as justices prevailed for the crime they deemed he did. Quote "You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws. hugo Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I think merc said it best, "That old bastard should be beaten to death with a wet noodle." timesjoke Posted November 2, 2009 Author Posted November 2, 2009 Hey RO, I bet that photo gives you great memories of your prison days, missing them arn't you? The man has already been convicted, just not extradited. The question of guilt has already been determined. And this is my biggest point where the discussion should go from. The question of guilt has already been established so this is not a question of someone abusing the rights of an innocent or presumed innocent, man. The man is guilty and is avoiding the punnishment associated with this conviction. Paying bounty hunters to bring this man to face the justice in my mind is not "wrong". But again, this is my opinion. I believe the Government should be serving the people and when they fail so miserably, somethimes the people have to step in. Quote
