timesjoke Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 I love to go just about anywhere, I can find something good in just about anywhere I go and just about any kind of music. Even rap is not so bad sometimes, I only have real issues with the stuff that has a lot of profanity in it. I am more concerned with spending time with those I am with, the place we go is just the excuse to be with friends and loved ones. Quote

I'm not completely selfish and I wouldn't gripe either because I would want them to enjoy their time doing something THEY like. hugo Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 I only go to places where I can commit good deeds and acts of charity. I do not go anywhere where I myself find the activity innately enjoyable. La Salsas Mexican Restaurant, food is mediocre (I usually just drink there), the people are great and the margaritas are good and cheap. Ahhlee Posted November 7, 2009 Author Posted November 7, 2009 You forgot to add: abortion clinic I did! Thanks for catching that oversight. After reading your list, I also forgot symphony, museum and book store as well! When I went to Madison last winter, my friends and I walked downtown among the old "mom and pop" stores (love them!) and we stumbled upon the coolest shop that sold used, vintage books. It was huge and even smelled a bit musty, but I didn't mind! I was in Heaven. I like going to antique stores with friends, too. It's not that I'm a collector, but I just enjoy commenting on peculiar items and imagining what life was like "back in the day" when the they were actually being used. It's kind of like wandering through a story book! And I do love stories. Quote

Well as usual your trying to make my post something it was not, I was just saying I don't really concern myself with things like that, to me the people I am with and spending time with is what is important to me. I rarely even watch television if it is not a college football game. I was not taking a shot at you, just offering my own likes, why is it I can't say what I find as good/fun without you or someone else trying to twist that into an attack on you in some way? Quote
