I'm reaching that point in my vacation where I'm getting bored. I can only go so long without something to occupy my time. I think there is such a thing as too much R&R. I am so ready for my vacation to be over. Does anyone else ever feel that way with extended vacations?

Don't know if I've ever had and extended one before. lol I usually never take more than two weeks at a time.

I've gotten home sick one year when we went to San Diego. Then my bike ride got a little old. Especially the 4 day trip back through Canada. Don’t get me wrong I like Canada it’s just we planned a marathon through which was the downfall of it.

There have been studies to show how vacations can be more stressful than work.

I have a pretty busy life so the majority of my vacations are more of the laid back type, so far sailing with my boss to Jamaica and back was the best, the Alaskan cruise was my next favorite.

I have a friend who wants me to go to spain with him this year, he loves it there and has gone 4 times already. I am considering it, but I guess my new situation with my Nephew's kids might mean any time off will have to be closer to home, lol.
