And there is the majority of Americans, somewhere in the middle, not extreme one way or the other.

 

"The Democrats have the White House. The Democrats have the Senate, as well," said Griffin Smith, 24, a teacher, who voted for Obama last year. "I would like to have more of a checks-and-balance system."

 

Most Americans do not want America turned into a radical socialist State, and they also do not want to make people starve who need help.
