RoyalOrleans Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 This pretty much sums up my sentiments on the whole climate change and/or global warming debacle. In fact, I think it might solve every single environmental (real or invented) problem facing the world today. Private ownership empowers. Among the natural rights of the Colonists are these: First, a right to life; Secondly, to liberty; Thirdly, to property; together with the right to support and defend them in the best manner they can. - Samuel Adams If history could teach us anything, it would be that private property is inextricably linked with civilization. - Ludwig von Mises Quote To be the Man, you've got to beat the Man. - Ric Flair Everybody knows I'm known for dropping science.
RoyalOrleans Posted March 28, 2010 Author Posted March 28, 2010 "Life, faculties, production– in other words, individuality, liberty, property– this is man. And in spite of the cunning of artful political leaders, these three gifts from God precede all human legislation, and are superior to it. Life, liberty, and property do not exist because men have made laws. On the contrary, it was the fact that life, liberty, and property existed beforehand that caused men to make laws in the first place." - Frederic Bastiat Quote To be the Man, you've got to beat the Man. - Ric Flair Everybody knows I'm known for dropping science.
