You and your, "sky is falling" claims.

Clearly there isn't any new taxes for the middle class even being considered...

Letting tax cuts expire. (that's a tax increase)...

Oh the poor wealthy.. and to think they created all those jobs with those tax cuts.

Letting them expire does not = tax increase. Since when is the President obligated to keep a cut that was made to be temporary?

YOU FAIL

.

.

OK TJ, I mean, Phreak, let me try to get this through your cinder block head. The Bush tax cuts were across the board and were also those that gave an extra $400 tax credit to every little member of every qualifying child in America.

That isn't just an increase on the rich.

And that was countered with the MAKING WORK PAY credit.. you still fail.

.

.

You fail greatly. The "making work pay" credit had a payout of $400 per person or $800 per married couple.

The Bush tax credits had $400 more per kid, plus a percentage, averaging $2,000 per year. My math says that 2,000 is more than 4 or 8 hundred.

Eric, you keep telling people to give up their "socialism", so does that mean you are going to give back the estimated over $11,000 you got to keep under the Bush tax credits that you continue to claim was only for the rich?

Yeah, I'D BE WILLING TO TAKE A TAX HIKE!!

IF IT PAYS DOWN AMERICA'S DEBT, SURE.

Who's stopping you? Amend your tax return and in the line where you can donate to the IRS, send them a check for $11,000. Put your, I hate the Bush tax cut money, where your mouth is.

Do it.

So, you'd be fine with an $11,000 increase in federal tax for 2010 to make up for that horrible Bush tax cut you got?

Figure out your Bush tax cuts for the rich here...

http://www.smartmone...orksheet-10177/

My savings are $1132 (note it asks for your 2003 return, which is exactly what I entered).

That amounts to a little UNDER what we got back with the added OTHER credits, but still would have gave me a decent return... so YEP, I'll take them Bush tax cuts back, I have no problem with that.

Besides, I'm one of those 50% that gets back more then I pay in. You have made a GREAT case for increasing taxes on the middle class with all your "let me try and be witty""take back your Bush tax cut" nonsense.

See here's the thing.... take back the Bush tax cuts, the only people who would bitch, are the Republicans... they'd even call it a tax increase... more then likely, they fall into that Fox News talking point category of the 50% who don't pay taxes anyway.

If they are like me, it would be no big deal.

So yep, take back them tax cuts, reduce my refund, use it to pay down the debt... I have no problem with that.
