ImWithStupid Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Prominent Black Activist Admits Branding Tea Party Racist Is Effective Tool For NAACP & Democrats Posted by Jim Hoft on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, 8:27 PM Prominent black activist Mary Frances Berry admitted today that accusing the tea party activists of being racists is an effective tool for the democrats and far left organizations. . And, there you have it. Democrats are flinging the r-word as a political maneuver. We all knew it. Now they admit it. Sick. http://www.politico.com/arena/perm/Mary_Frances_Berry_91E3D9D5-C40D-440C-9D48-1C50CBC60C87.html 1 Quote
ImWithStupid Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 Notice. I posted this yesterday, before seeing the above information substantiating my assessment... Isn't anyone else curious what is with the silence. Not a single person from the Obama administration or President Obama himself have spoken a word to try to quell the manufactured race baiting and race claims that originated from the left. Talk about astroturf. This is the DNC using racial tensions to try to bring out black and Hispanic voters this fall. "It will be up to each of you to make sure that the young people, African Americans, Latinos and women, who powered our victory in 2008 stand together once again," It's simple and disgusting. The DNC and the President using racial tensions to try and win elections. http://Off Topic Forum.com/topic/30971-ap-racial-tensions-roil-nc-school-board-19-arrests/page__view__findpost__p__109465 Quote
phreakwars Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Mary Berry isn't exactly someone who is liked in the Democrat party. In fact, this is the same chick that thinks blacks should have their own party.. and as for Democrats trying to steal the Latino vote. Well gee, what have Republicans done to warm the hearts over of Latinos besides push for xenophobic border laws? If Democrats are trying to steal the Latino vote, they sure as hell don't need to try very hard. . . Quote https://www.facebook.com/phreakwars

Does any of that make it OK to fuel/incite racial tensions for political gain? 1 Quote

phreakwars Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 So Fox News WASN'T inciting racial tension with, lets use just their most recent attempt... the Shirley Sherrod story?? I'd say my comment was right on the money. . . Quote https://www.facebook.com/phreakwars

I'd say my comment was right on the money. . . You mean when they reported on an incident AFTER the White House fired a woman, (who in retrospect is a racist/marxist), after it happened? No. If anyone jumped to racist conclusions, and acted out of racial fear, it was the WH. Keep drinking the kool-aid. Quote
phreakwars Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 They did? No sorry, she was fired AFTER Fox News spewed their bullshit edited clip. That's actually what caused her to get fired in the first place. And check your facts, it WASN'T the White House who fired her, they're just the ones who got the blame. Sure they over-reacted in firing her.. They kinda had no choice. It was all an effort to stomp out ANY racial tensions, and low and behold, what do we come to find out.. It was just another edited right wing propaganda clip (who in retrospect is a racist/marxist) Really? Try watching the entire, unedited video Or how about the guy she was "allegedly" racist against? His opinion tells a much different story, starts at 4:09 into the clip. (who in retrospect is a racist/marxist) MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Fox News has now made this woman into a racist in the eyes of any idiot who doesn't wanna accept or research the truth, the damage has been done. . . Quote https://www.facebook.com/phreakwars
phreakwars Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 And for another thing, I'll tell you EXACTLY why Fox News and other right wing news sites keep up this "I'm nt a racist, your a racist" theme of journalism. They don't wanna focus on REAL issues in our country. Why? Because they HAVE NO SOLUTIONS. Check out this fine example: . . Quote https://www.facebook.com/phreakwars

She was forced to resign before anything was said on Fox News. NOT ONE WORD of the incident was said before the end of the hour of Bill O'Reilley, 8 pm eastern time. She was told to pull over and resign, by the Obama administration, during her drive, in the afternoon. Lies. Do your fact checking. Quote
phreakwars Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Ever heard of Fox and Friends? Comes on early in the morning. I love how you defend Fox News. I suppose they WOULD deny it. Guess I have no choice but to post that "LIBERAL MEDIA" truth https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTdSKjYxAHY . . Again, what you people can't get through your heads, is the difference between commentary programs and news programs. Not a single Fox News program aired anything about this story. Facts please. "Having reviewed the full tape, spoken to Ms. Sherrod, and most importantly heard the testimony of the white farmers mentioned in this story, we now believe the organization that edited the documents did so with the intention of deceiving millions of Americans." Now why on Earth would the guy who fired her make that statement about FOX NEWS if Fox News didn't report it first? Sorry, YOU need to do some fact checking. . . timesjoke Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 I know that's made to be a joke, but honestly, what HAS Obama EVER done to stir racial tensions? When has he EVER played the race card? . . You must be kidding. How about calling white cops stupid for arresting a black man? All that mattered to Obama was race, he saw a black man get arrested and assumed the worse about the cop, only after news of him giving CPR to a black man did Obama back down knowing there was no way he could get away with it politically. The problem is, the damage was done, there was no way to "fix" the racial harms caused by Obama shooting off his mouth and painting an entire police force as racist before he knew all the facts. But, Obama plays the race card in other ways as well, by getting his detractors to do it for him. People say the "only" reason folks oppose his policies is because he is black, you have made the same claim in the past Bender. When these other prominent people make the claims, Obama can either stay silent and let the race card be played "for him" or he can himself step up and denounce the claims, by choosing to stay silent, Obama is agreeing with the race card tactic.
