Soup!!!!!!!!!! Arggghhhh

okay so Ive been sick with some nasty tonsilitis, sinus infection, bronchitis, and ear infection for the laast three days. The last two I have eaten nothing but soup, oranges, applesauce, and ice cream...I WANT REAL FRICKIN FOOD dammit...just hurts goin down. I have however caught up on enough sleep to last me all year.

When I'm sick I like to make noodle soup with a little bit of chicken, soy sauce and some Tabasco, the hot sauce burns my always sore throat so I don't feel the pain. I absolutely LIVE on the stuff when I'm sick. If I'm feeling creative I add vegies as well.

Just finished some lasagna and garlic bread with a side salad. Damn am I stuffed !!

 

Other then that, I overdose on vitamin C during this time of year till about spring.

If tabasco even THOUGHT about touching my throat right now...Id DIE...I can barely hack swallowing ice water...ice cream has been a good appetizer to soup and oranges though...numbs things right down

I got something for your tonsilitis, it has some substance also so it would help you feel full. It would have that warm soothing feeling like soup, heck I'll be right down and whip you up a batch. Just close your eyes and say ahh ahh ahhh ahhh ahhh...hehe

On a serious note, I feel ya. The baby was sick last week and couldn't keep anything down. And then I got it. So yeah... Thankfully it doesn't last forever.

nope nuffin that I know about unless I was sleepin and missed it!!!

 

just as I was starting to feel better...my 6 year old starts hurling....next thing ya know...my 8 year old follows her in suit. AHHHHH the joys of motherhood...at least they waited til I felt better...I feel for the little ones though I know its gotta be rougher for them than me. They are sure luvin all the damned ice cream though lol.
