All that said, just like the reports from many conservative or tea party rallies, the Mall in Washington was left clean, unlike the rallies of the left...

Video: National Mall Spotless After 300K Strong Glenn Beck Rally…

Compare that to the supposed Mother Earth-loving libs, who left behind 100 tons of trash after Obama’s inauguration…

The scene looked more like the leftovers of a massive college frat party.

Heaps of plastic bottles, food wrappers, soda cans, and newspapers, which blanketed the National Mall Wednesday morning, were a stark contrast to the stateliness and splendor of President Barack Obama’s inaugural ceremony a day before.

One hundred tons of trash were collected by city and federal sanitation workers, according to Department of Public Works public information officer Linda Grant.

In comparison, 40 tons of garbage were collected in New York City’s Time Square on New Year’s Day 2009 — after one million people attended the celebration — according to the city’s Department of Sanitation.

NBC News (via the NYT) estimated 300,000 people attended.

Officials do not make crowd estimates because they are unreliable and can be controversial, but event organizers put the number of attendees at 500,000; NBC News said it was closer to 300,000, but by any measure it was a large turnout. The crowd stretched from the Lincoln Memorial to the Washington Monument.

At 2:01 in the video, how many would you guess?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVFMx90y8Ew

That's a still picture inserted in the video. It only depicts a small portion of the area of the event. No way of knowing what time or even what day that pic was taken. No way of estimating the crowd from that. It's irrelevant.

What if you combined it with the scene at :14 seconds in?

How about at 3:01 ?

This is funny:

http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/08/29/glenn.beck.rally/index.html?hpt=T2

Park Service officials have stopped giving crowd counts after previous controversies. But an estimate commissioned by CBS News, using aerial photography, put attendance at between 78,000 and 96,000. ABC News reported more than 100,000, while Fox -- and Beck -- estimated it at above half a million.

Here's a TO SCALE rendition

The top one represents the Obama inauguration crowd of an estimated 2 million.

It went from The White House, all the way to the Washington monument.

Beck's shindig Went from the Lincoln Memorial and stopped a little ways after the reflecting pool before the road.

So, I'm guessing maybe 1/3 the size of the Obama inauguration?

Doing the math, and using THAT as the guideline, I'd honestly have to guestimate about 600,000

Divided by 300,000,000 Americans that equals about

.002% of the population

Wow, so THAT'S what a majority of Americans looks like.

Not sure what you're trying to say. My point was the absurd skew the media estimates crowd size, by perceived ideology.

As far as guessing the size of Beck's crowd. I'd guess it half of what you did, at around 300,000. That said. I'd also guess the crowd at Barry's inauguration is about half the 2 mil number that gets thrown around.

Not sure what you're trying to say.

I'm not saying I disagree with you about the reported numbers, I'm just trying to put a comparison on some of these numbers. And you may be right, Obama may have been more like a million and this may have been about 300,000.

But then, it is said WOODSTOCK had, from what I have been reading, anywhere from 300,000 to 500,000

Ariel shot:

.

So if THAT is true, can we REALLY say 300,000 (conservative estimate) HERE as well?

.

I'm not sure quite honestly.

Michigan Stadium, holds 150,000

Don'y forget the trees Bender. There are people packed under the trees, Based on what I have heard of non-political groups (I think anyone trying to lie and say it was under 100,000 are clearly showing they are no longer a new group and are instead progressive activists) there was between 400 to 500 thousand people there. Not a bad turnout considering Bech is not running for a political office and this was not even geared or advertised as a political event.

Of cours they were also just a bunch of racists.....right Bender?
