No, to answer the question, Obama is not a socialist. He is a hardcore fascist as opposed to GW's moderate facism and the state of Alaska's socialism. Socialism is when the government owns the means of productions. Fascism is when government controls the output of production. Mussolini, the founder of modern fascism was a Marxist. He understood businessman could produce more than government bureaucrats and that it was much easier to confiscate wealth than it is to produce it.
