Today I watched the rebroadcast of the news from that day. I didn't have anyone die that day, I didn't suffer anything, I thought I owed it too them to watch and contemplate what the victims went through and what the people they left behind went through. Contemplate is all I can do, contemplate and remember.

I too watched the morning events unfold on the rebroadcast, and saw farther into the morning than I was able to 5 years ago due to having to leave for work.

Starting about 20 minutes before the first plane hit, and continuing through for 2 hours until the second tower fell. I found it interesting in many ways. It serves as a way of preserving the raw confusion of the day as everyone went from intrigued by the initial disaster, to feeling as if the sky was falling. Great video clip if you ask me. I plan to show it to my daughter when shes a little older.

Are you aware that every year since 9-11-2001, a group has gathered there and read off the name of the almost 3000 victims who died that day...they say it takes hours to do. The family and widows of the victims read off the names, taking turns.

There wasn't a daycare at the WTC. Your thinking of the bombing in Oklahoma, there was a daycare there, many children died in that blast.

 

There were however children on the planes that crashed into the buildings. I believe some as young as 2 years old if I remember correctly.
