Ahhlee Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Sometimes I'm just not in the mood for a beer and Morgan diets get old, too. I'm looking for something new to excite my taste buds. What are some of your favorite mixed drinks? Do you like the old standards or are you up on the current trends? How about shots? I know different regions call them by different names. What are some of your favorites? Quote

What are some of your favorites? I had some Arbor Mist the other night, Blackberry Merlot, it was pretty good. I also really like Long Island Iced Tea but once you buy all the liquors needed to make them at home, you've spent alot of money. I want to try Cosmopolitans, Vodka, Cranberry juice, a little lime juice and Grand Marnier. Oprah also has a nice recipe for a lemon martini on her site, really lemonade and vodka with a few mint leaves, very much like Lemoncello. Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.
angie Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Gin and tonic, two limes. (Has to be Bombay Sapphire.) Quote http://www.darwinawards.com/ http://www.snopes.com http://www.breakthechain.org STOP THE SPAM!! Click Me You Know You Want To
Ahhlee Posted September 14, 2006 Author Posted September 14, 2006 I tried an oatmeal cookie shot this summer. Half Hot Damn and half Bailey's Irish Cream. It actually did taste like an oatmeal cookie, too. Quote

Arbor Mist is one of my favorite brands. My friends and I often have wine at our parties, but I don't have it at the bar very often. I tried a Cosmopolitan at a ritzy restaurant in Vegas. It was so good and soooo smooth. Very expensive, but I really liked it! Quote

tiredofwhiners Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 That Lemondrop drink Lethal spoke of, my wife and her friend love those things. In the summer by the pool they'll go threw 24 lemons a day. Quote AA's for quitters...i'm no quitter!

tellitlikeitis Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 I am more of a tequila girl. Jose Cuervo to be exact. I love margaritas of any flavor. Jamaican Ten Speeds are really good too, sorry I'm not sure what's in them. Blow job shots are also pretty popular among my friends and since I just got married last weekend I have taken many of them in the last few weeks (peer pressure, lol). And of course you have to take them w/o using your hands!!! Quote

snafu Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 I used to just go for the buzz. JD and coke. My wife likes Smith and Wessons. Since I've started drinking a little again, I go for Mikes berry. Still gotta love the stout and Pale ales though. Quote "You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws. I like Mike's Hard Lemonade, but I can only drink a couple because they're so filling. Plus they don't transition well to other drinks. One of my favorite beers of all time is Leinenkugal's Honeyweiss, but no one in my area carries it on tap. Bastards. Quote

I had the Mikes Hard Lemonade and liked it but then saw it was a malt beverage, I'm allergic to them. Thats what pushed me to try the Arbor Mist, it really is yummy. I also want to try Pimms, an import from the UK but its pretty expensive and I can drink ALOT before I'm drunk. Quote I am a pathetic piece of shit leeching single mom.
