Guest T5 Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I keep getting this message on my Sony Vaio Laptop VzFw.exe has caused a problem etc etc, I know that it is something to do with Sony Gigapocket multimedia entertainment center but some say it can also be something a bit more questionable depending on where it is running from. Please tell me how I can stop this message from appearing/fix the problem. Quote
Guest Jesper Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 You need to tell us the exact error message. In addition, please tell us where the executable is. To find out, before it crashes, do the following: 1. Hit CTRL+SHIFT+ESC 2. Click View:Select columns 3. Check Image Path Name 4. Click OK. 5. Find VzFw.exe and note the path name. That's the part that will tell us what it is. Paste that along with the exact error into a reply and we should be able to help you further. --- Your question may already be answered in Windows Vista Security: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/047010155...rotectyourwi-20 "T5" wrote: <span style="color:blue"> > I keep getting this message on my Sony Vaio Laptop VzFw.exe has caused a > problem etc etc, I know that it is something to do with Sony Gigapocket > multimedia entertainment center but some say it can also be something a bit > more questionable depending on where it is running from. Guest dean-dean Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 VzFw.exe is the VAIO Entertainment File Import Service. What is your computer Model name|mumber? Did you upgrade from XP to Vista, or was it pre-installed?
