you cannot uninstall WD in vista

What you can do is turn off the Resident Shield by unchecking it in Options.

this way it is not running in the backround in real time.

I keep having a compatabilty issue with Windows defender. I keep getting a

blue screen. I have Vista 64 bit I have also installed Kaspersky 2009 as my

antivirus. I have looked for problems to solve the issue and ran it in auto

to look for a fix. I keep getting a reply that says there is fix at the

present time. What can I do to keep from getting a blue screen and shut down

of my brand new laptop. I have only installed certified software,

Nero,Microsoft office and a few games?? Could not find the button to disable

as you said to do.

Thanks Whitney
