eddo Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 hm, not much on safety, or a can, or firefighters, or a lab room, so I'm the ignorant one? i actually looked into this further than what was posted to learn more before i said anything, did you? how about you find me a single paragraph on this story that includes the teacher in question's apparent 'safety precautions' if you can't find anything to prove that he did anything to be safe about it, than don't try to explain to me how I'm so ignorant. especially when your ignorance of the situation is the basis of your reasoning. ummm, if you notice my first comment to you: Just how did you arrive at that conclusion? I asked if you had more info than what was posted. I made no assertations about the safety measures this teacher took or didn't take, you however, claimed that this was "obviosly not conducted in a controlled manner." You are the one talking out your ass, not me. Quote I'm trusted by more women.
Msixty Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I made no assertations about the safety measures this teacher took or didn't take It very well could have been done in a metal can, or a lab, or with firefighters present Use the correct word, assertations are simply statements relating to the topic at hand, so yes, you did. also, how likely is it that he had a firefighter at the 'demonstration'? Please use plausable examples that make sence when compaired to the situation. eddo Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Use the correct word, assertations are simply statements relating to the topic at hand, so yes, you did. Thanks for the explanation of the word, Webster, but it still doesn't change the fact that I did not make any "statements relating to the topic at hand" of his apparent lack of safety until you said it was obviously unsafe. also, how likely is it that he had a firefighter at the 'demonstration'? Please use plausable examples that make sence when compaired to the situation. The fierfighter comment was exaggeration to enhance my point. Thanks for catching it, dumbass... Msixty Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Thanks for the explanation of the word, Webster, not a problem, i enjoy helping the mentally challenged but it still doesn't change the fact that I did not make any "statements relating to the topic at hand" of his apparent lack of safety until you said it was obviously unsafe. but you denied doing it AFTER you did it....... so why does it matter that it was in responce to me? would it have been different if you were typing to yourself, or have you simply run out of things to hold against one part of my post? The fierfighter comment was exaggeration to enhance my point. Thanks for catching it, dumbass... so you're point is so meaningless that you need to exagerate to the fringe of plausibility to make it worth reading? i bet you stuff your condoms to Quote Your stupidity is My weapon WARNING! my mood and mental state are strongly influenced by music and T.V./movies..... i may seem the slightest bit insane.. just don't let me watch my favorite show and or listen to my music and it will all be alright.
Ctrl Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Don't know how often I will say this, but I agree completely with Komrade. It is absolutely CRUCIAL that children are taught to question the government and keep an open mind to political ideas. The framers became the founding fathers BECAUSE they questioned their government and tried to empower the people to always be ABLE to question their government. That is WHY we have free speech. You dont burn things without the fire departments authority in front of other peoples kids. I would like to see him do it in front of a fireman. Maybe I am different than you guys. I wouldn't tell my kids they could trust anyone but a uniformed police officer or me, and their mother... sometimes. No priest, no teacher. I would teach them to question authority if they find it suspicious, they will be rewarded at home. I would have faith in my kid to understand that this guy was a looney... but that being said... the guy is a looney and should not be around kids if he is looney. Show an image of a flag burning if it means that much to you. It was representative. It was bigger. 1 Quote
ClassyMissFancy Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 I love my country and I would gladly fight and die to defend it and it's people if we were invaded.. However... If some idiot wants to spend his own money on a Wal-Mart flag made in Korea and burn it... it's his diplay of lunacy... go for it. It's his property.. he can do what he wants with it IMO. If we want to outlaw flag burning.. we need to stop allowing them to be sold in the USA and make flags FREE so that we can be selective about who gets them... so that we can claim them as government property. As long as Ikea can make money from selling our nation's flag to any idiot who can locate the store.. we should stop with the it's sacred bullshit. Just like friendship, marriage, sex, and religion... the flag stopped being sacred when when Americans started letting it be whored out in our own country without prejudice... to any idiot who can collect $10 worth of aluminum cans. The issue isn't the burning of his private property. The issue is his radical fucking attempt to indoctrinate children with his liberal agenda... and doing so on the federal and state tax dollar. The tax dollar that is paying his salary thanks to his GOVERNMENT job... Any government employee who protests against the government should be FIRED. How many private businesses are forced to pay employees who publically ridicule the CEO of the business on company time or otherwise? Think about that. If you worked for Microsoft and you started slipping out of the office to go to "Fuck Microsoft" rallies and chant "Close the motherfuckers down!!!!!", and publically burn copies of Windows XP... and profess that Bill Gates is a fucking idiot.... How long do you think they would be required to keep you on the payoll? I'm not saying all government employees should be required to vote for anyone. Our votes are still sacred... well.. those of us who aren't politicians anyway... All I am saying is you don't bight the hand that is feeding your liberal whining ass. If you don't like the people you work for and you want to protest against them.. FINE BY ME... go right ahead. But before you do you should resign and go to work for a private liberal grade school... if you can find one. Quote
