DEP stopping lots of Apps

My Sisters PC running Vista Home Prem has suddenly started displaying DEP

messages and stopping programs from running.

These programs include Windows Media player, Adaware and software for

updating her Road Angel to name but a few.

She has followed instructions for turning of DEP on these programs but they

will not run anymore.

Any ideas guys.
