Bitlocker makes notebook unbootable

After running the bitlocker drive prep and rebooting my note book (an HP

nc8430) goes into an endless reboot cycle. The OS will not load until I run

a repair and fix the startup paramaters. Is there some trick to making

bitlocker work? I checked the S drive that was made with the prep tool an I

see all of the hidden folders including the "boot" folder.

 

I did get the drive encrypted one time but I was still not able to start the

OS. When I ran the repair i said that the startup paramates were correct but

it still would not start!
