I have Kaspersky Internet Security on my desktop now and am really pleased.

Since I have Vista Home Premium i am wondering if WindowsLiveOneCare would

give the same security that I get from Kaspersky 7 ? The reason Im asking is

with having Vista I was thinking that to have all security from Microsoft may

be a lot better. Thanks for your feedback an everyone have a safe an happy

week.

Different security programs have different detection rates, performance etc.

No. Having the best security software is better, regardless of who makes it.

Live OneCare is a new kid on the block, and I think you will find other

programs with better performance out there.

If you are very pleased with Kaspersky, there would be no reason for you to

switch.

If you wish to try OneCare, you can remove the Kaspersky suite and install a 90

day free trial of OneCare - http://onecare.live.com - however, I think your

should stick with what you like unless OneCare offers something you desire. As

for capabilities, Kaspersky is highly rated by multiple sources. OneCare affords

good protection, too, but being from Microsoft certainly doesn't make it any

better than other offerings.
