No - you will find that it is disabled and One Care does its own thing.

Certainly. After all, the two products serve completely separate

functions, with no overlap, whatsoever.

(However, you'd be better protected if you were to get rid of the Live

Care One Firewall and use Vista's built-in one.)

Erm.... A firewall application and an anti-malware application are two

entirely separate things and serve completely different purposes.

Indeed, but we then have to believe that Bardharlock purchased One

Care

just to replace the Windows firewall, ignoring the integrated Defender

anti-spyware by switching off the anti-spyware plus anti-virus function

of One Care - maybe so.

The default action on installing OneCare is to disable Defender and the

Windows firewall.

All the more reason to install or re-activate Defender and the built-in

firewall, then. One certainly wouldn't want to rely solely upon One Care.
