Guest PacificCoastChika Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 EVERYONE has Gimp, it seems. However, when I try to open the Gimp that I downloaded I get this message: It appears that you are using GIMP for the first time. GIMP will now create a folder named 'C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\.gimp-2.4' and copy some files to it. Creating folder 'C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\.gimp-2.4'... Cannot create folder 'C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\.gimp-2.4': Permission denied Why is permission denied and why am I having trouble lately with my Windows/system 32 folder a LOT lately? I can't load my Adobe Photoshop or any of my Adobe filters for Irfanview, though I could just last week. I have an updated virus and spyware program and I have run it. Still having problems with DLLs, and still confused about how to run things as administrator. HELP!! Quote
