Guest Elisa388 Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 I'm trying to log into aol.com and am receiving an error message and the address bar has a padlock. I don't think I changed anything on my computer and I just want to know how to unblock the webpage. I can access everything else but aol. Help please. Thanks, Elisa Quote

Guest Elisa388 Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 I'm not sure which IE version I have but the Windows version is Vista. This is the error message: The service you are trying to reach is temporarily unavailable - please try your request again.. but, I don't think that's the problem. There is a red key to the left of the address bar and a yellow padlock to the right. This is address: https://my.screenname.aol.com/_cqr/login/lo...ww.aol.com%252F Thanks for all your help. style_emoticons/ "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote: <span style="color:blue"> > Windows version? Guest Dan Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Have you contacted AOL? The problem may be on there side and not on your side. Guest PA Bear [MS MVP] Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 You're running IE7 in Vista. Run Windows Update manually | Look for an Optional "Root Certificates" update & install it.
