Using Registry Editor to enable the Task manager

Click Start, Run, type regedit and click OK.

Navigate to

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]

In the right pane, delete the "DisableTaskMgr" key.

Log off for the change to take effect
