Guest dekac99 Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 In order to allow standard users in Vista to install ActiveX AxIS feature must be installed and correspondig GP set. The problem is that this does not work when UAC is disabled. Any idea/workourond to allow a standard user to install ActiveX controls? Thanks. Quote

Guest dekac99 Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Hi Bill, ActiveX, in your case, would not be possible to install w/o admin privilages. That's why the AyIS was developed. In my case UAC is turned off and AxIS doesn't work as it is supposed to.
