Guest Kelvin Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Hi All! I have a HP nx6320notebook installed with Vista. Due to company policy, I'm required to install a pre boot authentication full HDD encryption security software before I use it. It's similiar to Bitlocker where by I need to create a primary FAT32 partition first before install the software. After installation, I reboot and get this error "The file is possibly corrupt. The file header checksum does not match the computed checksum" And I cannot get past the pre boot authentication RTOS module. Is there any issue with this particular model and similiar pre-boot security software? Thanks for your help. Quote
Guest phoenix_abhi Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I am not sure, but most probably the Encryption software is not compatible with Vista. Why a FAT 32 partition, not NTFS. -- phoenix_abhi 'Technical Development and INDIA' (http://www.techtree.com/techtree/jsp/home.jsp) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ phoenix_abhi's Profile: http://winvistaclub.com/forum/member.php?userid=110 View this thread: http://winvistaclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19689 Quote
