Guest sgt mac Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 My basement computer has one or more of the above subject matter. Adware identifies it as fsrrecc.sys. It says it will remove it one the next boot but it does not. I loaded Windows Defender with updates but it does not detect it. Any suggestions? Quote

Guest sgt mac Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Sorry, I failed to mention that the file is in my windows\system32 directory and my system32 directory is not visable. I was going to delete it from there but the directory does not show up. Further suggestions are welcome.
