Hi Steve,

 

I don't think there is a way with Vista itself. I use Axcrypt. It works

quite well.

Hi,

 

there is not such an onboard tool.

I use a very good free tool from "Steganos" which is called LockNote. It is

a small notepad application which use a password protection and an AES

256bit encryption technology.
