Guest Devin Barkley Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Is there any data out there as to whether or not solid state drives improve system performance while using bitlocker? We have some laptops with TPM chips that tend to run like slugs. I'm looking for some way to improve the performance and thought SSD might be the answer. Thanks Devin Quote
Guest Steve Riley [MSFT] Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 I'm curious about the configuration your laptops (number and type of processors, amount of RAM, make/model of hard drive). It's rare the BitLocker causes any noticeable performance degradation. Please write back to me at my email address (below). Thanks. -- Steve Riley steve.riley@microsoft.com http://blogs.technet.com/steriley http://www.protectyourwindowsnetwork.com "Devin Barkley" <devin.barkley@volition-inc.com> wrote in message news:#sqU8jJCJHA.4780@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl...<span style="color:blue"> > Is there any data out there as to whether or not solid state drives > improve system performance while using bitlocker?
