Guest BobT Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 We have a Windows 2003 Server that is running Oracle, performing database replication and is used as an image file repository - over 1 terabyte. Virus scanning is enabled to both scan on reading and writing. I am trying to improve performance and believe the scan on reads is really not needed since scanning is done on all writes... What are the opinions or best practices on this subject? -- BT Quote
