Right click on the drive icon and select "Properties" Click the "security" tab Click the "edit" button Highlight "administrators" check the "allow" box next to the "full control" item - the deny checks should go away. Okay your way out and reboot. Quote
Guest FromTheRafters Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 In case you get "denied access" to the right click "properties" route, you may want to create a standard user account and use that to access this route. Does "Control Panel" appear if you press the "Windows" key and "r" at the same time and type "control" and enter? If so - create a new user account as "Standard User" and log into it to navigate to the settings. You may need to activate the hidden administrator account or add a standard user by way of the command prompt to fight your way out of this. Do you have the installation disk? Quote
