My best suggestion to you is to flatten and rebuild.

The following is the last option before wiping the system and reinstalling the OS...

Download and execute HiJack This! (HJT)

Then post the contents of the HJT log in your post in one of the below expert forums...

| Read some of the recent posts of others similarly infected. Go to

| newsgroups:

| alt. comp. virus

| alt. anti-virus

| Generically, the advice rendered by David H. Lipman, and others, should

| be very helpful. Let us know how you progress.

| Best wishes to you.

FYI:

The Microsoft News Server blocked you post because (for some idiotic rule or reason) it

doesn't like the names of the alt. hierarchy anti virus news group names.

I replied by using...

alt. comp. virus

&

alt. anti-virus

Use my Remove-it software, it will remove that malware from your system.

Choose yes for all options when prompted. Download it here

Ignore any posts made by the Stalker Leythos, he's still in love with me.

He started stalking me after I spurned his advances towards me.

He said he would stop Stalking me If I stopped mentioning his name.

As you can see that does not work. He is a sick obsessive STALKER.

Do you really want to trust someone that was banned from posting

directly to Microsoft Usenet servers, someone that has posted links to

pornographic materials on HIS WEBSITE, who's website is in the MVP HOST

Block list, and who provides a tool for your use that will block access

to reputable anti-malware sites without telling you he's doing it?

Do you really want to trust someone that has had to change their posting

identity after being busted by MS as a fake MVP?

Stalking, even in usenet is a crime, there are enough pages from your

filthy site to prove you're stalking me in your posts, I have them

documented and certified authentic - it's your call now Stalker.

The rule of thumb is you have to help yourself prior to asking for help.

You must take matters into your own hands. This means practicing Safe Hex, installing

Service Packs and patches as well as protecting the PC.

The reason you are infected is that you have failed to maintain your PC. Taking care of

your PC is like taking car of an automobile. The auto will serve you well IFF you take

good care of it like changing the oil, putting air in the tires, keeping it tuned up, etc.

Taking care of your PC means you have to install all provided Service Packs for the OS,

keeping it up to date and installing anti virus and performing safe computing practices.

You don't even have WinXP SP1 or anti virus installed so you are justing ASKING for

problems. Performing this mans you are helping yourself and that is what has to be done

prior to having major problems and asking for help.

You are 100% correct. It was unfortunately perpetuated.

Thank you for the heads up.
