Guest Painfull Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Will try these two at home, because I am at work at the moment. If anyone knows any other way to stop it right now and not have to run those two programs (going to run them both just to be certain) i would be happy to try it. -- Painfull Quote
Guest Painfull Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Okay, this may seem like a double post but that just because no one answerd for a while, I havent had the updater.exe warning since yesterday when i made this topic. I ran Ad-aware and Spybot like was recommended, they only found cookies... The only option that includes updates I have changed in a while is from my UTorrent 1.8.2 (i think not sure which version) So maybe it was Utorrent, could be something else not sure yet but cant be certain till it pops up again... So for now it's "fixed" -Painfull -- Painfull Quote
Guest mansrm81 Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Utorrent uses its own app to look for updates. Also run your antivirus software and see if it comes up with anything too. -- mansrm81 If you think I helped you fix your problem give me some rep style_emoticons/. Click on the scales.
