Guest YoJa Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 I want to change the password requirements for my users. I can change the group policy but I thought there was another place to change it were you had more options. I want my users to have a safer, secure password but don't want the level of restirctions offered in the group policy. Is there another way to restrict the password? Quote

Guest Steve Riley [MSFT] Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 How do you define "safe" and "secure"? -- Steve Riley steve.riley@microsoft.com http://blogs.technet.com/steriley Protect Your Windows Network: http://www.amazon.com/dp/0321336437 "YoJa" <YoJa@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4EBB9865-049B-4363-824E-1DB15D8F70EA@microsoft.com...<span style="color:blue"> > I want to change the password requirements for my users. Guest PassPlay Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Which version of Server are you using. You should have the options for password complexity within your GPO, which defines 3 of 4 critirea must be met and the password must be at least 6 characters long. If you need more than this then I agree with Paul. "YoJa" wrote: <span style="color:blue"> > I want to change the password requirements for my users.
