Internet Explorer 7 prompts login

Recommended Posts

We have Sharepoint setup so that within Outlook 2003, if you click on Outlook

Today, it will be a sharepoint site for us to post general announcements. The

problem is that every machine with Internet Explorer 7 prompts the user to

login when they click on Outlook Today, and those machines with Internet

Explorer 6 works just fine.

I've searched the web and found what everyone says is the answer, but still

no luck. I've changed the Local Intranet zone security level to low, I've

added the site name to trusted sites, yet it still prompts for a login. I

would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Did you access Internet Security properties and click Reset to Low for

Trusted Sites? Also be sure to scroll down to the bottom and check the type

of login that is set for IE. Hope this helps.
