Security alert box

This box keeps randomly popping up ironically ONLY when I am navigating in

my Yahoo mail boxes. I think it happens to some of my email accts and not

always. And has only begun to happen in maybe1-2 months.

For example, I click to see my inbox and click on an unread email and this

Security Alert box with that yellow triangle/exclamation point, pops up-It

says, "Your current security settings do not allow this file to be

downloaded."..my only option is to click the red X or the word 'ok' in order

to get rid of it.

Keep in mind that I can be surfing the web and this does not appear. ONLY

when in yahoo mail. So, if you think i ned to start there first, please let

me know. If not, maybe i can try a few things.

Windows XP home edition, sp2, IE7, windows firewall in use. I thank you in

advance

It looks like your computer has a malware. Try removing unknown auto-start

entries (using msconfig or Sysinternals' autoruns) and reboot the computer.

Do a full scan afterwards. Ensure that your computer has an antivirus

installed with the latest scan engine and virus patterns/signatures.

=> Does this behavior persist if you start IE7 in No Add-ons mode? To start

IE7 in No Add-ons mode:

1. Right-click on the blue IE desktop icon and select Start without Add-ons;

or

2. Start | (All) Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet Explorer

(No add-ons).

Troubleshooting and Internet Explorer’s (No Add-ons) Mode:
