Guest Khogle Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 When I view my networks, instead of having my LAN listed, it shows up as "unidentified network limited connectivity". It doesn't affect my online experience, at least not yet. I am new to Vista. So far it is OK, but still new to the experience. I grew to like XP after a while, so maybe Vista will grow on me. So, any idea why this happens. Never happened with XP. My access is set as public, as it is stated to be the most safe. -- -- NOTICE: Due to Presidential Executive Orders, the National Security Agency may have read this email without warning, warrant, or notice, and certainly without probable cause. They may do this without any judicial or legislative oversight. You have no recourse nor protection save to call for the impeachment of the current President Quote
Guest Josh Phillips Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I think the network is derived from the DHCP server. What are you using for IP allocation? -- Thanks, Josh Phillips http://windowsconnected.com http://twitter.com/JoshPhillips "Khogle" <khogle@gmail.com> wrote in message news:OpgFhfaVJHA.5504@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl...<span style="color:blue"> > When I view my networks, instead of having my LAN listed, it shows up as > "unidentified network limited connectivity".
