Guest Jasmine Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 I am trying to download McAfee Software on my computer, but it says it can't because the Java Script is not working properly on this PC. Why is this? I use Mozilla FireFox 3. Quote

Guest Peter Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Ask on a Mozilla Firefox group. It's obviously as browser setting, however, I can tell you that McAfee relies on Internet explorer so make sure it is set to its default settings. The latter screws up the interface of McAfee virusscanner. Only removing IE 8 solves the problem (it doesn't bother me, I'm using Firefox 3.1 beta 1) -- Wim Hekken ;-) Carpe Diem Quote

If not you can always go to Java.com and download the latest. Remeber to uninstall the version you currently have because Java does not do that when it installs the newer versions. If you don't uninstall first, you will end up with a whole long list of Java stuff, most of it outdated, clogging up your computer. Quote
