I will explain later, if required, the source of this 'extract' - but I used

same as bait for 'fishing' again on the 'test' newsgroup

(microsoft.public.test.here). It came as no surprise to me that this was the

fish that took the bait!

If others here know how to decode the script above, I'd be pleased to learn

how so to do. I queried something similar some time earlier this year

(received in an email message on that occasion) and was informed that I

needed to utilise Cyryllic encoding - but I have been unsuccessful when

trying to use same.

Advice welcomed.

As I've mentioned to you elsewhere, such things are a matter of judgement -

MY judgement, not yours, Mr David Lipman!

You sound like a Moderator yet others reading here should recognise that you

have absolutely NO 'authority' in this or any other Usenet newsgroup. Folk

may post whatever and wherever they wish with no controls at all.

I suspect that many belive that the Microsoft Communities facility is

monitored and policed by Microsoft staff whereas, in general terms, this is

NOT the case.

In this particular instance I am posting through the Microsoft website and

Microsoft have the power to delete this message from their server. I'm not

sure, but this may also be the case if posting using Outlook Express too.

On the other hand, posts which I make to these very same 'communities'

groups using the facility provided by Google (Groups) or any other News

reader can in no way be controlled by Microsoft. Others should also note that

even if Microsoft delete messages from their own servers, once the message

has been published to other Usenet servers they could be held on such servers

for evermore.

So Mr Lipman, stop trying to be a policeman. You have NO authority over me

(or anyone else!). The few posts I make make little dent in the profits of

Microsoft. If you don't like my posts, do not read them. You also have the

alternative of moving to another place - perhaps the new Microsoft Forums

will better suit you!
