VISTA Policy - User's Folder

Recommended Posts

Hello

I've got a problem with VISTA policy.

In the VISTA user policy is the following Setting present: Remove My

Document icon on the desktop.

By XP this was the folder from the User Profile.

I would like to hide the User's folder from the user desktop.

The folder has the name from the Userprofile.

Where is the correct policy Setting? Must I load a different ADMX?

Is it possible with policy settings?

Thank You!

my solution:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\HideDesktopIcons\ClassicStartMenu]

"{59031a47-3f72-44a7-89c5-5595fe6b30ee}"=dword:00000001
