It is not so much the web page errors which bother me. It is the attitude of the individuals concerned. They purport to be IT professionals yet they apparently failed to test their own web pages. When I mentioned it, instead of saying "Crikey, we've slipped up there - better fix it! Thanks Dave" they chose to slight me instead. Bad form IMO! The operation may be legitimate - there's no way for me to know. However, Andrew Taylor is real, an Englishman like me but just happens to live in Torronto. It's just possible that a physical check could prevent another 9/11. Do you still maintain that it's not worth caring about? Dave Quote
Guest Casual Observer Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 It's not worth worrying about. It's their website. If they don't want to correct the problems with it, that's their perogative. I don't know how you feel you can connect a website that doesn't display the same in two different browsers to 9/11. Different browsers can often render objects differently depending on the html standards they adhere too. Guest ~BD~ Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I'm not worried, 'Casual Observer' ......... but I have just been watching an item on TV about the war in Afghanistan in which we have had many soldiers killed and many more injured. This war is for real .......... and there is an enemy; some may be close by, anywhere in the world. On the Internet there is absolutely no way of being certain whether folk are friend or foe. Bad guys make mistakes - always. It's simply a case of picking up the clues! Dave PS Always be wary if someone refuses to answer simple and straight-forward questions - in real life as well as here! style_emoticons/ "Casual Observer" <someone@somewhere.com> wrote in message news:OFY5uQxXJHA.1272@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl...<span style="color:blue"> > It's not worth worrying about. Guest none Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Many questions you ask, challenges really, are NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! Why do you keep winking at people - mostly male? Do you consider yourself a pickup artist? Yes or No? A simple question, straight forward and to the point. If you don't answer it you "may" be considered a terrorist (by your own standards). I really worry about YOU, being so unstable and all. Quote

You are wrong when you say that it's none of my business. Thank you! Oh yes .... <wink> HTH Dave Quote
