Hello,

I have PC & a Laptop at work and both using outlook express XP SP3.

On my laptop, I'm able to open links inside message. but when i perform the

same action on the PC, nothing happens.

When I click on a link by puttin' the mouse over the link and the icon

changes, it won't open a new window to my link.

ex: www.google.com (when i click on this link, nothing happen.)

How can I change the setting?

TIA

Our colleague, mentor and good buddy passed away recently.

RIP Frank Saunders, IE/OE MVP for many years.

1. [Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | ] Set Program Access and Defaults

| Configuration that's already checked | Browser: Select "Internet Explorer"

here.

1b. Now check your settings here: IE Tools | Internet Options | Programs |

Default web browser.

2b. Hyperlinks do not work in Outlook Express after you upgrade to Internet

I'm saddened to hear that news. He was a good man (IMO)

A quote: Ref: http://www.islam-guide.com/life-after-death-by-wamy.htm

"The Prophet Muhammad taught that three things continue to benefit a

[believing] person even after death - charity which he had given (which

continues to benefit others), beneficial knowledge which he had left

behind (i.e. authored or taught), and supplication on his behalf by a

righteous child"

I'm uncertain what the last part of that statement means but I trust

that Frank's efforts to help people will not be forgotten.

Really shocked to hear that.Aside from being very knowledgeable about IE\OE and many

other computer programs, he was a real gentleman and a mentor
