I just uninstalled this faked alert from Control Panel (without reboot my

PC) couple of minutes ago, it still pops up the alert. Do I still need to

edit Registry or DLL as this is suggested by several articles from the

search in Google?

Use my Remove-it software, it will remove that malware from your system.

Choose yes for all options when prompted. Download it here

Do not use anything from "The Real Truth MVP" who is neither real or an MVP.

Rather he steals software and changes it to prevent you from going to known

legitimate malware-fighting sites.

Your computer is still infected. Look for removal instructions on Bleeping

Computer removal how-to's -

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/forum55.html

or here - Malwarebytes malware removal guides - http://tinyurl.com/5xrpft ]

These may work for you and all may be well. However, in many cases the

computer will also be infected with Zlob and/or Vundo trojans and protected

by a rootkit. These machines are extremely difficult to clean.

If your machine is one of these cases, either get guided help at one of the

specialty forums below OR back up your data and do a clean install of

Windows. It is your choice. If you are unsure how to back up your data or

how to do a clean install, you can take your machine to a local computer

professional. I don't recommend using BigComputerStore/GeekSquad types of

places.

PLEASE DO NOT POST LOGS IN THE MS NEWSGROUPS.

You're getting very close to slander there, Chris. I won't hesitate to sue

Malke is a reputable, honorable, good person in these groups with a

strong history of being ethical and helping others - something you can't

show on your side.

I always let it be but they keep, no matter what, attacking me. It's been

non stop for 5 years now. I want her to try to sue me so I can make it

public and everybody will see what idiot she and every other troll is for

attacking me and posting lies about me and my software. As you already know

it's been done before and that person no longer bothers me. I just get tired

what counts is not his leg, but the

foundation of facts laid out in his

favor, including the judicial system

so in the end, this is what counts.

--------------

though opinions are important to

have, everyone must take care

of what they are accusing chris

of.

accusations pertaining to this

matter cannot withstand the

facts the courts determined to

be true and correct and ultimately

favored his standing over the

accusations made by others.

----------

with the exception of trolls,

people act with emotions and

make the mistake of lashing out

or make derogatory remarks from

time to time.

but that is what being human is

all about.

You are wrong. Butts DOES represent himself as a Microsoft MVP. The fact the he stopped

using it when he posts doesn't make the point moot as it is clearly stated in his

propoganda blog.

The following claim is false...

"I am a current Microsoft MVP I am part of the antivirus and spyware community. I have

been for 6 years. "

Malke correctly pointed out that Butts is NOT a real Microsoft MVP as she is. Butts is in

fact a software plagiarizer and malicious actor. The software he has proposed is a

concatenation and modified version of plagiarised utilities. It blocks reputable anti

unless he is promoting himself as

a "microsoft most valuable

professional awardee",

then he may not be violating any laws

by designating himself as a

microsoft most valuable player or

a microsoft most vital poster.

because microsoft does not own

the rights to these three letters and

can be interpreted as anything.

you, me and others are microsoft

windows professionals, but we

wouldn't be violating any codes

of ethics if we utilize such titles

like wvp, ie windows valuable

professional or the title dr. windows

and I doubt we would ever see

microsoft or the baylor college

of medicine taking legal action

against anyone calling themselves

Dr.Windows.

in my opinion in order for microsoft

to protect its rights, it would require

its awardees to officially designate

themselves as "microsoft's mvp

awardee" or as "microsoft's most

valuable professional".

--------------

ultimately, however I think we all

can agree that the assurance of

integrity with the microsoft mvp

program is the sole responsibility

of its administrators.

I only wish that there would be

more people who would make

a deal out of those microsoft mvp's

awardees who don't know what it

means to a basic professional,

let alone a most valuable one.
