Guest johnw Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Recieved this address from, allegedly, an MSN contact but when you click on it it asks you to log in using your MSN address and password. But it has, according to thier terms and conditions nothing to do with Microsoft is this phishing or genuine? Quote
Guest Josh2Go Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 i received the address through msn. The link was not correct and once i clicked it my mates began to tell me that i was sending them the link. One of my mates told me that the link is sent when internet explorer is opened (but i do not know if that is correct yet). Yea, its just a virus DO NOT OPEN THE LINK... Quote
Guest Sinbad The Sailor Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Yes, these get passed around like Chlamydia... If you have been infected (with that virus, not Chlamydia) uninstall MSN, deleted the MSN Messenger folder from your program files, and re-install. -Sinbad On 23/01/2009 08:41, in article 00AA0E07-C3A7-4EF6-B9B3-396BC6686E15@microsoft.com, "Josh2Go" <Josh2Go@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: <span style="color:blue"> > i received the address through msn.
