automatic security update query

Recommended Posts

yesterday i went to work leaving my computer running as i was downloading

some files from a friend using teamviewer and i also had sightspeed running

however when i came home i found that my computer had had a security update

installed automatically which wasnt the problem however my computer and all

programmes are password protected so what was unnerving is the fact that my

computer had shut down and rebooted itself without the password and

sightspeed had also reloaded and started itself again without the input of a

password should i be concerned or see it as a hiccup? just for information i

have AVG, Winpatrol, ASC Pro and spybot search and destroy installed on this

computer also i have only had this computer a matter of days checked settings

etc and all seem fine but have never known my other computers to have

restarted without password prompts even after auto updates am i being

concerned over nothing? thanks in advance for any help.
