Guest kthomeer Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 I noticed that SBS 2003 doesn't accept sha256RSA signatures on security certificates. On the other hand: XP SP3 and Vista does accept. Is there a reason why the SBS 2003 hasn't been patched yet? Quote
Guest Brian Komar \(MVP\) Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Remember that it can only validate the certificate (from another device). THe Windows XP/2003 line cannot consume (own/use) certificates using SHA256 Brian "kthomeer" <kthomeer@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:853F02BF-F4DB-4AF8-9DD2-CB31414C6122@microsoft.com... >I noticed that SBS 2003 doesn't accept sha256RSA signatures on security > certificates. > > On the other hand: XP SP3 and Vista does accept. > > Is there a reason why the SBS 2003 hasn't been patched yet? Quote
