hi folks / Hello Forum,

can find an answer for my question since weeks. Maybe you ppl can help

me out?:

-I want that my traffic goes over VPN only.

I mean, if the VPN is OFF, then internet traffic connections should be

blocked.- So it does not connect anywhere without the VPN.

(I use vista to connect to the VPN (pptp)).

(So no client application like cisco-vpn etc.)

Any idea how to configure vista for that?

I use the "outpost pro 2009" firewall but there seems not to be such a

configuration-rule :\

Any idea which Firewall can do or better: how to configure it in vista?

Or is there any application for that?

Try to help me ppl

Well, in theory you could block all outbound connections at the firewall in

the Public profile, except for the outbound connections you'll need to

establish your VPN. Sadly, that's not going to work either, because Windows

applies the least-permissive profile to all network connections, including

your VPN. Windows 7 allows multiple active profiles on the firewall, so you

could wait a while, or look for third-party solutions.
