Guest Brian Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Hello all, Just wondering if it's possible to download all the windows update files without using the Windows Update Service or the Window Update Server Service? I have servers that are not able to connect to the internet and I don't want to use the WSUS Server stuff. Just would like to download the files and burn them to a DVD? Is this possible? Thank you in advance. Brian Quote
Guest MowGreen [MVP] Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 It is possible, but cumbersome: February 2009 Security Release ISO Image http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...4a-df7fe948d133 You can change the month to obtain previous security ISO images. For non-security content, use the links on this page to download them manually: Description of Software Update Services and Windows Server Update Services changes in content for 2009 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894199 For last years' non-security content Description of Software Update Services and Windows Server Update Services changes in content for 2008 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/961825 BTW, both pages contain links to all updates issued in '09 and '08. Both pages also contain the URLs to all updates released'05, '06, and '07 at the bottom of the pages.
