Hi

 

Appears to me that the information about the conficker family of virus is

incomplete because despite i followed all the suggestion i found in the

Microsoft Pages it continue appearing in a couple of my servers.

 

It's not enogh to use a updated removal tool and patch the system to prevent

this virus?

Flatten the servers, apply your images (didn't make images? do so next

time), patch completely before bringing back on line. You need to do this

on all your workstations too or all the machines on the network will just

get reinfected immediately.

But if a format and reinstall the server, would be still risk for the server

With Conficker (and other network-aware worms), absolutely.
