Local Computer Administrator & Administrators Group In SBS 2K3

Hi,

I have several clients that run line of business applications specific to

their industry. What I am encountering is the line of business software

requires that the user be an administrator on the local computer in order to

write back and save to the registry. I do not want them to be in the

Administrators group within the domain. Am I at risk letting them be Admins

on the local computer. Any discussion is appreciated.

Give the "users" group permissions to write to the specific area of the

registry that is necessary on the local workstations.
