Guest Lou Messina Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I was planning on installing OneCare. I just received negative feedback in an XP forum. One post even indicated it's being discontinued. Does anyone have feedback on their experiences? Has anyone heard that it's being discontinued? Recommendations for another program? Thanks. Quote

I recommend NOD32 (commercial) or Avast (free) for an antivirus and the built-in Windows Firewall. I don't care for antispyware that runs resident, but Vista has it included so that's OK. I really like Malwarebytes' Antimalware. The free version is fine; just remember to update it and run it regularly.
