Guest Neil W. Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Are there any AV white lists to submit software to? It seems like the AV vendors are flagging more and more "regular" software as viruses these days. Thanks. Quote

They can then QC the new definition and release it to the general public. Quote
Guest Neil W. Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 I heard that from the VirusTotal people as well. It sounds like each vendor has to be contacted individually. Unfortunately some are less than responsive. "David H. You must contact each vendor about any False Positives their respective products might declare. Some are better than others but... You CAN get action. I know, I have done so on a few occasions. But I have also had bad oocasions such as with Avast taking ~60 days to correct a FP VBS:Zulu declared on some Microsoft web pages. -- Dave http://www.claymania.com/removal-trojan-adware.html Multi-AV - http://www.pctipp.ch/downloads/dl/35905.asp Quote
